Kids Pottery Class

Service Description

For kids aged 5-16, each 90 minute class has a different theme and includes step-by-step guidance from our tutors. There is of course always plenty of room for individual flair and expression! This is not paint-a-pot, this is creating your very own pottery masterpiece from scratch! In the last half an hour of the class, the kids can go to town decorating their pieces with colour. We will then lovingly glaze and fire their masterpieces, ready to collect 3/4 weeks later. The price includes materials and firing. Suitable for teens, dads, mums, grans, grandpas and kids aged 5-16. All kids under 13 must be supervised by their guardian during the class. You do not need an extra ticket for supervising, however if you'd like to make and keep a piece yourself then adults are welcome to book a spot too. Themes for the following dates: Feb 15th - Make and decorate a plate Build and design your very own plate, perfect for your pancakes! April 5th - Animal Pots Make cute animal-inspired pots using the pinch-pot method and then add ears, tails, and faces to your pot to create a little creature of your own. May 24th - Mini Vases Make a small vase perfect for a flower or just for display. Kids will learn simple hand-building techniques and decorate with fun patterns and colours
