Can I reschedule my class?
We offer full refunds 14 days prior to your class starting.
Please do contact us if you need to reschedule.
Can I park near you?
Yes! There's plenty of parking across Quex Park. To park the closest to us, drive past the Adventure Farm Park and follow signs for the Estate Offices. You will find parking there!
Is there a limit to the work I can make?
Each individual class or course has a set amount of pots included, but if you'd like to keep more they are charged individually. A small to medium sized pot is roughly £10 to finish and glaze fire.
What should I bring?
Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, bring an apron if you have one. We do have plenty you can borrow if needed.
It's a good idea to tie long hair back and cut nails short especially if you are throwing!
Can I bring an under 18 to a class?
Our classes and courses are mainly aimed at adults, but do get in touch if you have a keen teenager. Our Clay Social nights are strictly 18+ though!
Who can become a member?
Anyone can become a member at The Yard.
We have different memberships to suit beginners and those with experience.

Can I buy memberships/classes for someone else?
Yes, we sell gift vouchers with a code to use at checkout. We can email them either to you or directly to the recipient.
Do you offer a kiln hire service?
No, only work made in our studio is fired here!
Can I use my own glazes and clays?
Yes, however you must show us exactly what they are and they must be tested in our kilns first. We fire to bisque and stoneware mostly.
Can I purchase clay directly from the studio?
Yes, we have stoneware clay for sale.
When will my work be ready and when can I collect?
After a class or course, your work will be ready roughly 4 weeks later. We will contact you with info on times to collect.
We can also arrange postage if you're not able to return.
